Jim Russo was born in Boston, Massachusetts in January 1978. He grew up on the south shore and first developed an interest in professional car cleaning at the age of 13. In 1995 he found part time work in the car wash industry and by 1996 was getting professional instruction in high quality auto detailing under Brian Camara, president of The Showroom Touch. In late 1997 Jim entered college and focused on business administration. He founded Waxmasters Auto Detailing working regular full time jobs during the day while attending business classes at night. Weekends were spent detailing cars for loyal customers and friends.
In addition to running a professional auto detailing company Jim develops websites for other car washes and auto detailing companies. He also acts as a consultant to the industry working with car dealerships and auto detailing entrepreneurs.
Jim holds a BSBA in Management from Emmanuel College, Boston and an MBA in Entrepreneurial Studies from Babson College in Wellesley Hills, MA.
